Jill Hennessy

She's a native Edmontonian who has Irish, Italian and Swedish heritage, and also French Ukrainian French as well as Swedish. Her twin sister, Jacqueline is a professional actor. When she was growing up, Jill became fluent in various languages like Italian, French and Spanish. When she was 12, she began to become attracted to acting. The path to acting began in Toronto where she was an actor in David Cronenberg's Dead Ringers, along with her sister. Then she studied improv comedy on Second City under Deb Kimmet. The actress moved to New York two years later and was offered a contract to as the Assistant District Attorney Claire Kincaid in the hit longest-running drama Law & Order. Also, she was a part of films including RoboCop 3 (1998), Ron Howard's The Paper (2000) and I Shot Andy Warhol 1996) during her three-year run. Her work was featured in a couple of boring films during the subsequent years, before landing an acting role in the miniseries uremberg alongside Alec Baldwin. Autumn in New York followed the show, along with Exit Wounds. The actress was offered a leading role in the NBC crime show Crossing Jordan. And in 2007, in recognition of her contributions to the show she was honored with a Gracie Allen as the "Outstanding female lead in a drama Series". She was married to another actor Paolo Mastropietro in 2000. They have two children together. In 2007 the couple was recognized as a member of Canada's Walk of Fame. Jill Jill Jill Jill Jill
