Anamaria Marinca, a Romanian-born actress. She was awarded the British Academy Television Award Best actress for her role in the Channel 4 film Sex Traffic. She speaks French, German, English as well as Romanian fluently. Her father is a theatre teacher at one of the country's highest-rated drama schools. She was awarded the Best Female Actor Award for the Year in 2000 at the Gala for Young Actors in Mangalia. The actress was in Cristian Mugiu's Romanian film "4 3 weeks, 4 months and 2 zile" (4 months, three weeks and Two Days) which earned her the Palme d'Or award at Cannes Film Festival 2007. The film also won two additional awards: it was awarded the Cinema Prize of French National Education System (FIPRESCI Prize) as well as the Cinema Prize. Youth Without Youth by Francis Ford Coppola was a different film where she starred. In 2008, she appeared as Yasim Angwar, the BBC Five-episode Miniseries The Last Enemy. Marinca appeared in her role in the Romanian drama Boogie and Oliver Hirschbiegel's popular Five Minutes of Heaven. In the feature film Fury (2014) the actress appeared as Irma she was the German woman who played Emma's aunt.
