Bella Poarch was born in the Philippines on February 9 1997 to her natural Filipino parents. Her grandmother was a resident of within the slums of Manila until she reached the age of three. Her adopted father, a Filipina-American who has a military background was white, and American. She alleges that she as well as her adopted brother and their mother suffered abuse in their childhoods until they joined the military. Following her joining TikTok she launched a YouTube as well as a Twitter account to capitalize on her fame. The fame of Poarch peaked in December 2020. It was reported that she attracted the attention of two big professional Esports organisations. FaZe Clan (100 Thieves) and 100 Thieves wanted to hire her to develop the content they wanted for their brand names.
